Bishop Edward J Weisenburger speaks on Pima County’s recent mask mandate as the rise of the Omicron continues. 
“With Pima County’s recent reinstatement of a mask mandate for indoor activities, and also with the acknowledged rise in the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus and increase in hospitalizations across our nation, I strongly urge pastors to encourage their parishioners to make use of facemasks and social distancing for all parish activities and public worship.

Christianity has always acknowledged a balance between individual rights and the rights of the community. At this critical juncture in history we must do all that we can for the health and wellbeing of the community.
